This place has great ambience and fast and courteous servers. Unfortunately the food Is not great. My family and I all had different meals and only one of the four members actually ate their entire lunch portioned meal. (...and this is after our family skipped breakfast). The good: seasoned fries, chicken broccoli pasta. The terrible: sweet potato fries (very soggy); shrimp pasta; flatbread pizza; spinach pecan and cranberry salad (added mushrooms and onions???). To spend $50 bucks and receive this type of food quality is unacceptable. I would have done better ordering at dominos!

It was a good atmosphere and food was good. I had the nachos and they were naked to perfection. My waitress is good looking and very nice as well. Would recommend to anyone. I know some of my friends love to go here and they always rave about it as well.

I have been here a few times and really enjoyed the ribs, the desserts were great also. The service is always great, with my favorite being Jessica, she really goes out of her way to accomodate her guests!

I love this place! Their wings are to die for. The only complaint I ever had was that the waitresses sometimes take a long time to get back to you. One time our waitress never came back to refill our drinks because she was too busy talking at the bar so we ended up getting the manager to get our drinks. Lets just say she didn't get a good tip

I read all the reviews on here before trekking out with my $25 gift card, so I didn't have high expectation, but i'm always hoping for the best! This was the wrong place to be positive about, unfortunately. Hey, I call em like I see em! The place is nice enough, very BW3 or *insert generic sports bar here* like with lots of tvs and seating. They have a general dining room too that is more family-friendly, but we were kid-less so we opted for the bar side. Drinks came fast, and refills are free (thank God for $2.29!). The waitress and hostess were cute and very pleasant/ friendly. I thought we were off to a good start! Boo the naysayers i say, Boo! We got the menu, which for this type of place, is just WAY TOO BIG!! They say they're "gourmet pizza", but their menu has everything from pulled bbq pork to glazed salmon to an "Italian Trio" of alfredo, chicken parm, and lasagna. then they have burgers and salads.. for Christ sake the apps alone take up two pages!! Starters, and More Starters... yikes! I had read good things about the grilled steak crustini so we got that for an app. the UH wanted pizza, but I didn't so he ordered the Sicilian and i ordered the baked shrimp scampi. And we wait... and wait... and wait. Now, mind you, the place was NOT busy at all! 25 minutes and 3 refills later our app FINALLY arrives. It looks pretty good. I took a piece of the steak off to try it alone and it....was..... cold. Not cold, like it was left out and forgotten about so it got cold, but cold like the microwave just didn't do the trick. This really pissed me off, and i rarely send shit back but COLD?? yuck! The waitress took it away and apologized. On a good note, another waitress (or manager maybe) came RIGHT over to apologize and said she will take it off the bill and she has "another steak on for your app right now! " When she returned within 30 seconds with the same plate, now more scalding than the bottom of an active volcano, I wasn't surprised. Mmmmm, "new" steak. It tasted pretty rauncy by then, as microwaving meat will do sometimes, so i ate one and gave up. the UH was starving and scarfed them all down. I dont think he even tasted them! Because we waited so long for the app in the first place, it was kind of expected that our entrees came out immediately after. I was happy because I was still starving, and starting to get woozy from the 3-refill sugar high. What I ordered was Baked Shrimp Scampi. What I got was spaghetti with jarred alfredo sauce and a few thawed shrimp and tomatoes thrown in. The waitress brought fresh ground pepper and fresh parm to the table which kind of confused me more. what kind of place are they trying to be?? My food was hot and edible, but certainly nothing special, and most certainly not something that i haven't made myself in a pinch at home. The last time I checked, Scamp doesn't have spagetti or alfredo sauce in it, but I was hungry so I ate till I was full. At least they didn't totally ruin the shrimp. it was not rubbery yet, although it was "baked" *i use this term loosely, as do they! * UH's pizza was nice. the crust was was light and crispy, and the toppings were good. He was pretty satisfied. They have a wonderful glass enclosed patio around the outside that would be so fun in the summer with drinks and a few friends! So, all in all, it wasn't a total loss. Granted, I wouldn't go that far for a meal there again, but I did like the atmosphere and think they have potential. I think if they simplified their menu and made it a little more pub-food than all the other things it's trying to be, they would have a great thing going for them.

On this trip to Bostons we decided it was time to try the pizza. Having previously had the calamari, shrimp tortellini, fish & chips & the sliders. We choose to go with a couple different pizzas. The first was the double meat & peppers pizza with chunks of sausage, diced meatballs, roasted red & green peppers. The second was the BBQ chicken pizza. Diced chicken, caramelized red onions, cilantro & a sweet BBQ that makes licking your fingers after every bite a must. Both pizzas were very good with a crisp yet spongy corn-meal crust & once you throw in the large mug of Budweiser I find it hard to believe you wouldn't enjoy your meal here. Service is always great and the desserts for the birthday boys is always a hit. A giant glass bowl full of ice cream covered in hot fudge with sprinkles makes for some of the best birthday photos.

So, this place has been open what? 2-3 years? And I have yet to eat there. Considering it's on the "Hall Road Strip" with 2~3M chain restaurants, I guess a place like this can be hard to miss. Well, I ask a neighbor to have lunch with me and we pick there. Why? I still don't know. It was laid out like any other chain place, bar to the left, restaurant to the right. We order garlic sticks, a meat lovers pie, and a couple Arnold Palmer's. The sticks came out first, basically they took bread and dipped it in butter. Was it good? Sure! Will it stop my heart? Maybe after 3 of them. Now the pie comes out. Looks OK, sausage, peperoni, ham, etc. The sausages were literally the size of golf balls. They didn't even hold onto the slice (which made NO sense). The pizza tasted fine, but holy bleep was it greasy. The orange grease remnants looked like the Gulf of Mexico spill. After 3 slices (which were small), I was done... 5 minutes later. BLAMO. I had to run to the bathroom is a scene reminiscent of Dumb and Dumber. I call it Hungry Howies disease, because that is the only food that shoots through me faster than a bullet train...and Bostons had it beat in record time. With that said, the bill was $32. For bread sticks, one pizza and 2 iced teas. Hardly worth the dime when I could have had Buddy's for a fraction of that. On top of that, I literally only rented the pizza for 3-4 minutes and my stomach barely got to make friends with it... Will I go back? I seriously doubt it.

Not a fan!! Just an other food chain outlet. What's going on, why not go to some of the great local restaurants in town. You get more for your money and a better meal. Everything I eat tasted like it can from a box. Ok I may just be one of those guys who like's a touch love and personality in the place's i dine. But the drinks are really good.

The food is average, just like any other sports bar. The prices are a bit high for what you get. The bar area is well layed out and has multiple TV's. I am not going to run back here but I will not avoid this place either.

I had a great experience here last Wednesday night that I just gotta SHOUT about. Having closed down a funeral home, we arrived at Boston's front door at 9:30 pm with 30 people. Now I'm sure that entire staff was ready to wind the evening down, but they handled our group with smiles and good cheer. Food was good and delivered quickly. Drinks were better. I told my waitress I wanted the biggest Margarita she could muster. She delivered a glass that could have been used as a fish bowl for two. And our waitress Christina was AWESOME! Thanks for a great time on a night where we really needed it.

We dined in for lunch. My Grilled Chicken was underdone...the manager/owner (not sure which position he held) was unacommodating and didn't believe me my chicken was too pink and chewy. I got my chicken re-grilled, but it wasn't with a sense of service, more of a sense of burden or annoyance. My guest's pizza lunch called "the Nooner" was unimpressive and sort of tasteless like a fast food pizza chain. I don't think we will be returning.

My bf and I went for a late sunday night dinner here b/c the other couple told us about this free apps coupon they had from signing up for their e-club. Their bargain hunting ways is a trait we share in common with those fine folk, and so we joined the e-club too, got the coupon and headed on over. It was probably busier than usual since it was Mother's day, but the service was great nonetheless. I was surprised to find it to be a really nice sports bar/grill with an awesome glass enclosed patio w/ heat lamps! For our free apps we ordered the nachos with taco beef and our friends ordered their new flat iron steak crustini (Sliced Italian bread topped with mushroom pesto, Parmesan, rosemary-garlic butter and sliced, grilled flat iron steak). The nachos were really good, a little skimpy on the meat but I really enjoyed their homemade tortillas. The waitress let me in on why they were so amazingly crisp and didn't get soggy even with all the toppings: it's a blend of all purpose flour and corn flour. They were a perfect portion for me and my bf to share and get satisfyingly appetized. We were considering getting the flat iron steak crustini too but it looked kind of small, until they brought out our friend's plate and it was surprisingly big. I underestimated the portions of steak strips that would be on there and the were cooked medium rare which is perfect! For their gourmet pizza's we ordered the Sicillian: spicy Italian sausage, smoked ham, sliced pepperoni, red onions, green peppers, fresh basil, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. The pizza was a little more thin than I would like because I'm a huge fan of deep dish, but i'm also an even bigger fan of pizza in general, so if it was there in front of me... believe you me i was gonna eat it and enjoy it! Our friends ordered the Tuscan: pomodoro sauce, roasted garlic, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and spicy chicken with feta, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. The best part was when the bill came out.... the meal was already a good deal with only having to pay for the small pizza's we got. And then, we noticed their sunday special: 50% all pizzas!! The waitress explained that since it was a holiday, she was only told to give the traditional discount if the customer asked for it.... hmmm which is kind of a sly move on the management's part b/c it's not like the deal was invalid on holidays.... but she went back and gave us the discount. So..... 2 appetizers, and 2 small pizza's all for about $6 a couple (not including tip). Needless to say we will be back again on sundays! Also they have 50% off entire tab 10pm-close on any day.... so yes we will definitely be back!

This was my first time coming here. I wanted to give it a try ever since I saw this place. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza. It was an ok, I've had better. Also the service was slow and crappy. I am also BIG on receiving good costumer service when you are a service business. I don't know if I will be coming here again.

My experience at Boston's was a solid one. The nachos appetizer was delicious with each chip being covered equally in toppings. The Florentine Pizza was delicious, but a bit expensive for what you get. The service we received was absolutely excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed.

Nice waitresses but they don't know their beers. I asked for their darkest beer and she gave me an IPA when they had stouts on tap.

Pleasantly surprised for a franchise / box restaurant. We went here for world cup and the place was packed. We were seated rather quickly. The wait staff did not get overwhelmed. The drinks were good and the food was better than you would expect for a corporate pub and grub establishment. The prices were not bad either when compared with portions so I would give it a thumbs up on the value side as well.

Delicious, anytime of day or night. Have never had a bad meal and the desserts are to die for. Fantastic servers too! You can't go wrong here. Also a great atmosphere, especially for a sports fan. A great place to sit and visit too. We make this our go to spot each time I am in the area.

Located on busy Hall Road at Hayes, it looked crowded from the parking lot. Once inside, the seating was ample. Visited with family, there were 5 of us. A variety of menu items were ordered, including a personal pizza, pulled pork sandwich, mac-n-cheese, kid's spaghetti and meatball, and cajun chicken & broccoli. A couple apple crisp desserts were ordered, as well as an ice cream sandwich for the little goober. The food was good all the way around. Service was excellent - Katlyn R. did an outstanding job. Drink refills came without hesitation. Nothing against this establishment, but I'm not too much into sports bars. There are TVs everywhere. It was a bit noisy, but overall, not too bad. Pricing was a tad bit high, in my humble opinion. But, they offer a generous military discount, so it wasn't too high for me! They are offering a great deal on gift cards, but unfortunately, I didn't bring enough money to be able to take advantage of their offer. I prefer Mom-n-Pop kinda places, so I rarely visit the chain establishments. Obviously, my preferences flavor my reviews.

This review is strictly on the pizza I enjoyed, a very unusual combination... a single pizza with green olives and anchovies. Needless to say when I ordered it, the waitress got hung up on the fact I ordered anchovies and instead of writing down green olives she wrote down green peppers... and that's the pizza I got, green peppers and anchovies... but it's ok, they quickly corrected the order and I got a free pizza, plus the one they brought out originally was also free.. so at the end of the day I got a tasty pizza and a very nice attentive response to their mistake. Hey we're all human and we all make mistakes, so I'm not gonna get hung up on a mistake, but rather celebrate the very attentive way in which they made sure I was still a satisfied customer. The beer selection is pretty good, and the atmosphere is comfortable for a sports bar type restaurant. I would go back in a heartbeat =)

5 stars for one reason, and one reason only. Top notch customer service. I was in with a couple buddys a little while back, our steaks came out over cooked (probably partially my fault for ordering a steak from a sports-bar themed restaurant). Not only were our steaks replaced- they were comped off our bill. Very Impressive.

Decided to come here after a soccer game. It was a Sunday night and almost every place we called, their kitchens had already closed by 11pm. We came here because the kitchen didn't close til 12:30am on a Sunday night! Already a bonus right there! Seating hostess was friendly, seated all 7 of us promptly. Our waiter, Kyle, was nice and attentive. Took our orders and even separated our bills with out fussing. We didn't wait long for our drinks to come and the food was out in good time. My brother, boyfriend and myself ordered their classic pepperoni pizza. Delish!! Their sauce is so yummy! The pepperoni were thin big slices of heaven. We hardly ever order dessert but their brownie skillet with ice cream looked too good to pass up. We ordered two between the three of us and demolished it like it was no body's business. Overall, great first experience and will definitely come back again!

I ordered the lasagna. It was served in a cast iron skillet. It had 4 layers of AL dente lasagna pasta noodle oozing with mozzarella and meat and spicy tomato sauce. I also ordered the oven baked wings. I added the creamy buffalo and teriyaki sauce on the side. They were juicy and full of flavor. The food was great...but that Brandy Boston Creme Pie....OMG it was so good. Just look at my photo. It had chocolate creme almonds and the Brandy sauce that felt like love from above. You must try it

Love Bostons. Always consistent. Been coming here since they opened and its a good standby when you have an indecisive group or significant other and want to watch a game, drink or eat. Bar fills up fast durning games, but service is usually really quick. Their kitchen is open until close. Phenomenal! Feed the drunkies. Full menu. Nice. Dining area is busy at times but still service is mostly A+. I've had most menu itens. Soup, salad, fish, burgers, pasta... always tastes the same as other visits. Good deal. Drinks are good quality too, nice selection of beers on tap. I highly recommend coming here! Patio is great when weather permits;)

This is the place to go to watch sporting events. They have delicious wings. The pizza speaks for itself. The desserts are crazy good. The staff is super friendly. You won't leave disappointed. Ask for Kayla's section. She is the best! BTW - They are one of the few pizza places around that offers fresh basil as a topping. Basil makes everything better.

I have been here quite a few times, mostly with my boyfriend. It's a great casual place to go grab dinner and a drink. I normally get the loaded cactus cuts. I love those. However the menu has tons of options which is nice! I change it up now and then and have never been disappointed. The service is always really good. They have the outside patio during the summer which is nice too. Overall I really enjoy it here.

  • Tricia H.

The dreaded 3 star review. The reason being - it takes a hit on the pizza. They have pages and pages of pizza options - but what we got wasn't much better than frozen grocery store pizza. The sauce was pastey, the cheese over done. They did take is off our bill and were super nice about it. We did have the cookie with ice cream and that was amazing.

Boston's on Hall Road is nice place for a small family or just trying to grab a beer with a friend. The pizza and burgers are to die for. However, the pizzas are a little greasy. The calzone that I ordered was not the best and was extremely heavy. The service is good and the people are really friendly. If you are a fast drinker, no alarm! They always fill up your drink and ask if you need anything. There is also two areas to eat; dining and bar area. During the nights the bar is packed and I recommend sitting in the dining area with your family. The bar area has a ton of TV's too.

EWW EWWW EWWW How does this place stay in business?? Food is terrible. Ive gave it a few tries, but every time the food was nasty! The only thing I liked there was the pretzel encrusted mozzarella sticks, But they took it off the menu, and added even more nasty crap! just yuck! Go to Taco bell instead!

This place is actually pretty cool! I went here with my friend and we were promptly waited on despite our scruffy appearance from working on our new house all day, and our waitress was friendly. The ambiance is definitely sports bar as there are large tvs everywhere, but it wasn't extremely loud or overwhelming. We started off with some beer (which their selection of is pretty stellar) and ordered 2 individual pizzas. I got the Florentine with wheat crust, and my friend had anchovies and green olives. My pizza was good, heavily topped, and well flavored, but just a bit too salty. They gave my man the wrong pizza, but we were very pleased with how they handled it. They apologized, made him a new one, and let him eat the old one at no charge! I'll be back again soon!

Boston's is a great bar for pizza, beer and sports. I've always had great service here and they have a nice outdoor patio for those days you just want to drink out in the sun. Helpful Hint: Come here for your birthday and let your server know.. they will give you a free drink. I came here with my mom and when they told me this, I lit up like a Christmas tree. My poison for a Sunday birthday drink: A shot of tequila. (And I'm not even a tequila fan!) The waitstaff and managers are great. They make sure you're doing good and they're not annoying about it. They always seem to come at the right time and most of them look like they actually like their job. My friend and I came here and she raved about the extreme mushroom flatbread. We ordered 2 flatbreads and only one came out because the waitress was confused. The manager came out and asked if we ordered 2, apologized and bought our next round of drinks. Awesome customer service. You offer to buy me a drink.. and I'll wait all day for my food. Just sayin... The extreme mushroom flatbread was ehh..the 'sliced marinated mushrooms' taste like the mushrooms you get out of a can. I would order it as maybe an app, not as my dinner. The spinach artichoke dip is a great appetizer and it's big enough to order for the table. I usually order it with a friend and by the time dinner is served, we're stuffed. Just a fair warning. I always order pizza. Boston's offers so many different types of pizza, so I get really anxious trying to figure out what pizza to order. I always go with the barbecue chicken pizza, the tropical chicken pizza, the flying buffalo, the florentine or the tuscan. (I told you I'm bad at making decisions when it comes to my food!) If you want a place to watch the game, have a pizza and a huge ass beer.. this is the place I would recommend.

Me and my group of about 15 came here around 9:30 on sunday night.. We didn't call ahead (our bad) but the staff was very accommodating to us. Never once did we feel like an inconvenience. A couple of us got appetizers and those were delicious. When it came time to cash us out the server (maybe her name was Kristin?, sorry!) was very quick. Keep up the good work guys.

Always very good food and drinks. We have had several different food items over the years when we go there and food is always delicious the drinks too! Waitstaff is always attentive never had any issues in the 2 years we have been eating here. Great place!

I ate here when the place opened up a few years ago. Although I live around the corner I have not returned until yesterday. I decided to do some shopping at Meijer's and thought I'd give Boston's another try for dinner...now I know why I stayed away so long. The ambiance is excellent. The place is clean and comfortable with lot's of clear big screen tv's. The service is also excellent. My problem is with the quality of the food! They have a huge menu selection where the pictures make the food look delicious but what you see is definitely not what you get! The prices are way too high for the quality of the food. I ordered chicken sliders. Tiny portions with cheap sauce slathered on the chicken for 'flavoring'. The fries were plentiful, hot and very good. My mom ordered pizza. The crust was half cooked on one side with the other side looking very pale and tasteless. This place ISN'T the place that you RUN FROM but I sure wouldn't consider it a place to RUN TO!

    (2)
  • Jeff C.

Was here on new years eve a few years ago and honestly we received the worst pizza to date. The crust was like a dry loaf of bread that even water to drink along with it couldn't help. I've had it 5+ years ago there so overall it's not a terrible place. Pizza will never be bought there again unless extremely last option.

    (2)
  • Stephanie B.

I haven't quite figured out what is so great about this place. The prices are ridiculous (ex. the 'starters' are the same price as some entrees) The food is very corporate and not fresh by any means. You'd be better off getting something from Wendys. Your bill would be cheaper and the quality would also be better than Bostons. I ordered sliders: one buffalo chicken, one bacon cheeseburger and one meatball. I wouldn't recommend any slider besides the cheeseburger one because 1) the sauce on the meatball and the buffalo sauce made the bun soggy 2) the chicken and meatball were both frozen. Food was luke warm. For nearly $10 for 3 sliders and fries I had higher expectations. The only reason I gave this place two stars was because 1) the bathrooms were exceptionally clean 2) the service was awesome.

    (2)
  • Nick M.

I got the chicken fettuccine and it was too legit to quit. The prices are solid and the place is good for if you want a casual night out with the lady or want to watch sports on the numerous TVs they have. This place also has a special place in my heart because it's the first place I ever dined with my now girlfriend. Woohoo!

This is our gobto spot for dinner. Food is always consistent and the service as well. The salmon blackend is my favorite. The chicken strips tossed in the garlic butter suace is some of the best I've ever had. Can't wait to come back.

Just picked up Cobb salad with chicken very disappointed on the amount of chicken it was about 4 tiny strips .for the price and size of salad they need to put in more chicken.

The food here is HORRIBLE! The first time I ate here was on New Years about a year ago. I got pizza and the it was disgusting. The crust was dry as hell to the point we couldn't even eat it, I would of rather of gotten a 5$ hot and ready. I let that whole dry burnt pizza experience go though because it was New Years and it was busy. So a couple of days ago we try to eat there again. This time I got the cheddar broccoli soup. It tasted OK, not that good but not disgusting. The thing about it is it set my crohns off. I don't know what they put in it, but it caused me sever pain that I'm still in. Whatever they make it with (or maybe it was old or something) sent me into a flare up. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the service is really good. I almost feel bad about being harsh on the food because I have had good service. So because of service alone I give this place 2 stars, but if it based on food alone id give it -10 (if you could give negative numbers).

It's a sports bar but with better than usual bar food. They've got a lot of different options to eat and for the most part, everything is pretty good. They've also got decent staff and it will be a good night out.

They have a good beer selection and fair priced food. We had the mama meata calzone and nacho appetizer. Both came out fast and our server was very attentive brining my lady crushed red pepper and parm. It's a good place if you're looking fit variety of menu and a place to watch a game.

We LOVE this place! It's amazing to me that there aren't more of these popping up in Michigan! Pizzas are fantastic, my favorite is the Sicilian, but my husband loves the flying buffalo calzone as well as the chicken peppadew flatbread. Their twist bread, and nachos are out of this world as well. Local craft beer selection is pretty solid for a chain restaurant. The service and food is always consistent and I love that they have trivia nights. We are usually true to our small business restaurants but if there were a "chain" restaurant we like, this would be it!

Hi, so I was just in Boston's on Hall Road and Sheonner and I had a terrible experience with my girlfriends. We came in and ordered drinks and the waitress asked for IDs, per usual, however, she gave me a very dirty look when I handed her mine and it was very rude. 5 mins later, the manager comes out and asks for my ID and I showed it to him and he started questioning my identity. I answered all his questions And he continued to be rude thinking it wasn't me, when obviously it was, telling me I don't look like the girl..... I lost weight.. Then he gave it back to me and the drinks came.. 5 mins later AGAIN, he came back and asked EVERYONE for their ID and we got mad and left.. Who does that, we jsut wanted drinks and a good time.. Don't Go there

I was really hoping that they would be playing the band Bostons debut album on repeat throughout the restaurant. Needless to say, they did not. Food is okay, though I'd enjoy my burger more if I was eating it while listening to "More than a Feeling"

I have to say, the service was great (thanks Alyssa)... That said, their calamari was absolutely putrid. It's thick and in strips, almost like tiny fish sticks. Nothing natural, and it looks and smells like it has been re-constituted with adders (maybe cod or something added to it, because it smells horrible, strong fishy oder), and the sauce is not good as well. They did take it back without complaint, took it off of the bill, didn't argue at all, and they were very helpful about taking a new order. However, everything there is extremely corporate, meaning, it seems like it shows up to that place in huge boxes, frozen, and gets warmed up in some fashion. There isn't a lot of actual "cooking" that goes on at this place. I'd rate it somewhere between Applebees/Brans, which, IMO are the lowest of the low of the corporate places, and put it up somewhere around Friday's, Ruby Tuesdays, and Max and Ermas. It's definitely no Bistro, Maggiano's, Carabbas. I go here on Tuesdays for 1/2 off drinks/food that they're only supposed to give to service industry people, but generally give to everyone... And that's about what this place is good for. I would never eat or drink here and pay full menu price for anything, it's just not that good.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Ask for Kyle, talk about a service with a smile. The ribs are amazing, mushroom bisque soup was delish and of course the pizza is amazing. Great beer tap list too.

This is one of my standard favorite restaurants. The food is always great and the staff is friendly. Tonight I'm having a burger, but my favorite is the flatbread pizza. And of course the mini brownie sundae dessert is to die for!

I am a little picky about my pizza. I like really good NY-Style (Original Ray's, SBarro's). I love really good, authentic Chicago style deep dish (e.g. Gino's East, Giordano's), and I can not leave out my absolute favorite and nationally underrated Detroit square-dish pizza (e.g. Jet's & Buddy's). With that being said, I must admit I was biased against Boston's because it falls in the "none of the above" category. We ate here as 2 couples, and Boston's served up some tasty nachos to us as an appetizer, the chips were in a nice big circle laid out, rather than one soggy big pile of chips. The chips themselves were almost fried and floury, which made them tastier and hold up better against sogginess. While there was ample melty cheeses (cheddar & mozzarella) black beans, olives, and mild jalapenos on the chips and a nice sour cream and salsa centerpiece - the taco beef we added to it was VERY lacking. I mean literally 5-6 specks of beef on each cheap. That was a stingy no-no. On the other hand our accompanying couple ordered the flat-iron steak crostinos, which were tasty medium-rare grilled steak strips over nice little toasty bread slices. That looked and tasted very appetizing. Split between my and my GF, the nachos appetized us well. We ordered a Small sized Sicilan pizza, and with 8 small slices, the Small was perfect for an appetized and hungry pair of Midwestern folk. This particular pie had Italian sausage, pepperoni, basil, red onions, green peppers, tomatoes, and the obvious mozzarella cheese. Overall, this pizza had a good amount of toppings and cheese and the crust was soft and fluffy enough to not leave behind for the busboys. However, the reason why I can't gather myself to give this place a stellar review, is because they take basic pan round pizza, with a crust that leans on the thinner end of the spectrum, make it moderately well, and then call it "the best gourmet pizza." Nuh uh, not in my book. This type of pizza is far too easy to come by to call it "gourmet." All in all, I enjoyed this pizza, but it was nothing to write home about. I ate it with a fork and knife only cause they market it as gourmet. The mere presentation-quality of the pizza did not merit the fork and knife. As a couple, we used the free appetizer coupon for signing up on the email list, and compounded with 1/2 off pizzas for Sunday 5pm-close - it basically led to a bargain $6+tip bill for us. So at the dirt cheap price of $9 for me and my GF, I would say the value was awesome. But at the full price of $21+tax it would cost without coupons - nope - I would rather pick up some Buddy's, Chicago Uno's, or at least Green Lantern or Jet's!!!

Told me on the phone they had NFL Sunday Ticket. They don't. This is a bad chain restaurant masquerading as a sports bar. The bartenders seem more concerned with waiting on tables than tending bar. Apparently they can't change any of their two dozen TVs without their managers say so. After waiting 45 mins for this guy to come around, try to find the game, then tell me they don't have NFL Sunday Ticket. Didn't apologize. Horrible management skills. At least the bartender said she was sorry and bought me a beer. The wings were soggy. Kinda like pizza hut wings. The pizzas prob good but I'll never know. First and last time here. Live and learn.

Amazing food, AMAZING waitstaff and drinks are always awesome! I have never left dissatisfied. I have brought many out of town friends here for dinner, and they always talk about how they cannot wait to come back and have Boston's again. My boyfriend and I had dinner here tonight, the waiter saw that I had recently turned 21. He brought me my drink, and then minutes later returned with a shot (on the house, might I add!) It wasn't on the menu, but he told me it was a 'Superman'. It was delicious, and I thought it was super cool of him to do that for me. Keep it up, you guys. This place is a real gem.

I don't know why I've never been here before! It was a great sports bar to watch a game, eat and drink and relax with friends! The bar area is large and has good seating and I was really impressed with their patio. They even wheeled out large screen TV's to watch sports on on the patio. It was screened in and private from the parking lot and busy road. The food was great, the entire table I was with enjoyed all the food and we shared a bunch of apps- all great but the fan favorite was the spinach and artichoke dip! The prices are reasonable and they had great drink specials when I was there. Definitely will be returning for the great sports bar atmosphere and convenient location.

Okay, upon friends suggestion I tried Boston's again. They love this establishment, and maybe I had not given them a fair shot last time. This time we ordered wings, both spicy garlic, and thai flavors...both were very good. We also had the nachos and cheese fries..along with a couple of Sam Adams Cherry Wheat (on special) made for a fun Sunday afternoon for us gals. I'd probably go back to Boston's when looking for that sports-on-tv experience, plus I'd like to try some of those yummy looking flat breads!

Love this place! Just wish it was closer to home. LOL. They have trivia nights! Good pricing on drinks and the food isn't too bad either. I just have to make sure to bring my "FatFighter" with me! LOL. Service is fantastic. I have not had a bad experience with the waitstaff EVER! They are nice, check on you the perfect amount of times and make sure that everyone is happy! Love this place! =) There is now one opened by my Grandma's house in Fenton right off of US23 Owen Road!

Love it! Perfect for lunch or dinner- bar or restaurant- kids or no kids. We love the food and specials on gift cards (get 50% more on your money by buying gift cards) plus they have lots of coupons and deals like kids eat free on Sundays!

I love their Asian Glazed Salmon! The waitstaff are all courteous and the restrooms are always clean. The menu has a great variety. My picky husband and 3 yr old daughter loves their pizza. There are tons of seating, and I've never waited for a seat. It's a great place to go with your family, and watch your sports events.

All in all, this place is pretty much on par with (thus, similar to) such chains as Chilli's, Applebees, TGI Fridays, etc. I had never heard of it before, but my little sis moved down the street and none of us knew the area, so we pulled in to the first restaurant we found. They have a decent patio outside, which seems like it'd be nice on a warm evening for drinking, etc. The inside, again, is similar to most chain restaurants. Maybe a bit nicer, but your typical chain restaurant that tries to cater to both families and the drinking/sports crowd. Lots of flat screens and table tents with happy hour/drink promotions. The menu is so extensive that it can be overwhelming. I was there with my fam for a quick lunch, but I could see my sis and I going back for drinks and catching a game in the bar area. Anyway, they claim to be a pizza place, but they had tons of pasta, burger and sandwich options. The fam and boyfriend all got burgers and LOVED them. I hate burgers, but they looked really good, and everyone said they were cooked well, etc. I got a french dip, and it was pretty good, but nothing special. The service was prompt, but hey, it was 3:30pm on a Friday, so they were dead. Overall, a good choice. Nothing truly fantastic or special about the place, but the food is decent, if not good, and they have drink specials, so it fits the bill.

Did you know Boston's is from Canada? My boyfriend (who lived in Boston at the time) and I came here and asked them why there were no Boston's remotely near Boston. Our waiter seemed surprised we would ask. I've had their pizza, multiple times, multiple types and they've all been good. This past week, however, I tried something new in regards to their pizza. I tried their whole wheat crust. They have a "Healthy Hints" section of their menu all with choices that are under 15g of fat. This is huge. If you start to look at restaurants and their menus, many meals have upwards of 60g of fat! Yikes! Since I'm on a 12 week program with a nutritionist and am on week 8 I thought that I'd have to wait the additional 4 weeks before I could indulge in pizza again, I was wrong. Upon seeing the healthy section of the menu and looking up the information online before I went I thought I could deal with it. I'm also trying to eat more wheat things so I went for the wheat crust for an addition 79 cents (I believe). It was fantastic. The sauce was just phenomenal and the melted cheese...Mmmmm. I was not disappointed. The individual sized pizza was about a slice to much (I started with a side salad), but I thought perfectly portioned. The ranch is awesome might I add. A friend of mine and I both are major ranch lovers and eat it on many many things. Our waiter didn't completely comprehend how much ranch we needed as we kept having to ask him for it over and over. We even joking requested a "bucket" of ranch. Eventually he brought out a tray full of those little cups with ranch. Perfect. Although the food has always been great, I agree with the other yelpers in saying my service has been subpar. I often feel like when I am there I am looking for someone of the waitstaff because I need a refill (or more ranch ;)). On the plus side, they have a cal ahead policy that helps me when I'm on a tight work schedule. If you call ahead and tell them when you are going to be there and what you want to order they have it ready for you. You can go right in sit and not have to wait for your food to be ordered and made. It's very helpful. They also usually have coupons in the weekly coupon book things we get in the mail.

I've eaten at this place a few times in the past few months, and I'm starting to like it more and more. When I first ate there, I heard they were known for their pizza, but I wasn't overly impressed with it. But giving their pizza more tastes, and trying other things on the menu I'm a fan now. I would highly recommend their Mama Meata Bowtie pasta. That might be my favorite thing on their menu, which is full of lots of choices. I would also recommend their Southwestern Raviola for an appetizer. I've yet to try their deserts, because I'm normally too full, but the desert menu looks delicious, so I might save room next time I go there. This place is definitely worth a visit, and the wait staff is pretty cool and friendly. It also helps that they have TV's everywhere to watch sports.

Its kind of a mix between Chuck-E-Cheese and Doolies... definitely not a straight-up bar where you just hang out. They want you in-and-out. Its mostly just another crappy chain concept with a revolving-door of staff and frozen food - and there are no shortage of those along M59. Just come up with another name of a city and you have a new, hype restaurant concept (Boston's, Chicago's, Philly's, Baghdad's, Timbuktu's, etc.) The pizza is actually not bad. The best I can tell, its not that pre-sheeted dough and seems pretty legit. But if you are supposedly a "sports bar", can you please put the Wings game on and hire some hot women??? Sheesh.

Went here before going to kart to kart. I was running late and my friends were already their so they ordered for me. I had them order me some fish tacos (i watched "i love you man" a couple days before) . The food came to me right as i got to the table. The tacos were pretty good (i imagine the ones in "i love you man" were better tho). Service knew we were on a deadline and were quick and efficient. They had a large selection of mainstream beers on tap. Unfortunately this place is located in to the heart of "the east side" which i avoid at all cost.

Absolutely love this place! I stopped in randomly and I'm so glad that I did. The staff was super friendly and even though they were slammed, we were never neglected. The pizza (artichoke) was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend.

Beyond horrible! We went there at 9:30 on a Tuesday, and it took over an hour to receive our food. When it arrived 2 of the 4 meals were cold and our waitress did nothing about it. She just said no way and never came back to our table. The table next to us never received their bill and left cash on the table. I even contacted corporate and guess what? I never heard from them!

The pies are pretty good but the service is definitely weak - slow and unattentive. The portabella and fried cheese appetizers blow but the spinach artichoke is decent. All and all, average.

If you like pizza you won't be short of choices here! So far I have liked everything I ordered. Boston's is a place where you can get a real sit down meal and watch a game...it carries that nice balance of restaurant/sports bar atmosphere. The wait to be seated is no more than a couple minutes even when the parking lot is packed. I have ordered and liked the following: Southwest Quesadilla starter--this was awesome, not too spicy and its on a light crispy style tortilla...it hits the spot! BBQ Chicken pizza--I was never a fan of chicken on my pizza but this is really good the bbq sauce is what makes it! Sicilian pizza--the meat on here are in huge chunks so if your a meat lover...need I say more Roasted garlic chicken pizza--this was thin crust with cut garlic cubes on it which makes the taste very strong but oh so good! I would also like to add that the waitstaff is great. I didn't need to request refills for my drinks or anything else...they were pretty on top of it. I have to give this place a thumbs up!

They have someting for everyone on this menu. It's supposed to be known for thier pizza but I never tried it! They have a patio area with 5 flatscreens, a bar area, and a dining room. So if you just want a quick bite or somewhere to watch the game, this could be your place.
